Hoya Candy is a seed mutation of Hoya fitchii ‘Yellow’. This variety has strong inner variegation – dominated by large patches of cream-white tissue with irregular “islands” and bands of darker green. The contrast between pure white and deep green is striking and highly ornamental.
The leaves are elongated, narrowly elliptical, sometimes strongly undulated and slightly curled. The leaf blade is firm, with a slightly bullate texture and a satiny sheen.
Hoya ‘Candy’ thrives in high humidity and moderate light.
